Hunter Hall: The Carnegie Hall of Flanders

Hunter Hall is a restored historical building in Flanders, NJ. While it was once inhabited by AT&T, and abandoned for over 20 years, it's owner has given it new life by bringing our community together to enjoy the beauty of classical music with an intimate touch.

While I am new to Flanders, NJ, I was born and raised in New Jersey. I am so used to attending classical concerts in the New York City. Now, just a couple of miles from home, our families can enjoy all that Hunter Hall has to offer.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Hunter Hall is hosting a concert, part of the winter/spring series, this Saturday, February 10th, 2024 at 7pm. This concert will kick off the series which comprises of four dates through June of 2024. I've referenced the flyers below, and if you would like more information on each event in the series, please check out: https://www.hunterhallnj.com/events-1

In addition to bringing some of the worlds greatest classical artists to our beautiful town of Flanders, Hunter Hall takes pride in the many programs they have to offer to students of all ages. Some of the classes they offer are:

Piano * Spanish* Adult Spanish * Mommy and Me Music *Music for Special Needs * Children's Choir

For more program information, please check here.

Once while on a retreat in New York, I had the pleasure of being able to enjoy classical music in an intimate setting.  The experience is so beautiful, and so different from attending a larger concert in the city. Pictured below is the inviting space to be shared by musicians and attendees alike.

Overall, I am happy to have met Florencia. She's got big dreams for Hunter Hall that I can envision when listening to her talk about her love of classical music, and passion for making it accessible to our families. Hunter Hall may be new to town, but with ownership that aims to make it a beacon in town for music, entertainment, and education I am excited to watch this small business thrive in our community
